It is of the utmost importance to The Shredders that we
protect the documents that we pick up for shredding.
Therefore we have in place procedures, such as locking all
bins prior to leaving your facility, alarming our vehicles,
and shredding from the bins without sorting material. We
have extensive background checks on all individuals that
handle the bins, both in our plant and on the road. We
digitally record all activity in the plant and hold the
tapes for one year.
The Shredders will not disclose or describe to any third
party, any material (documents) directly or indirectly,
under any circumstances or by any means, except under legal
compulsion.
The Shredders will not copy, transmit, reproduce, summarize,
or quote any information, and will use the information only
as necessary to perform our pick up and shredding process.
The Shredders will restrict access to any documents to those
people who need to have access to the documents to perform
our normal pick up and shredding process.
The Shredders will exercise the same degree of care it uses
to protect its own proprietary information or trade secrets
in safeguarding the information against loss, theft, or
other inadvertent disclosure.
